Running Projects:

Exploring Smartphone Operating Systems with a Focus on iOS Kernel Internals
Funded by: Oppo Mobiles India Pvt Ltd

The objective of this project is to explore the smartphone operating systems (Linux, Android, iOS) to understand various design optimizations in the scheduling and memory management algorithms. Our team will work with Oppo mobiles to make the smartphone operating systems more optimized and suitable for next generation applications. This project is funded for a duration of 3 years (2021 - 2024).

Traffic Engineering for Enabling Energy-aware Design in Next Generation Cellular Networks
Funded by: Intel Technology India Pvt Ltd

The project aims at developing energy-efficient video streaming protocol over the next generation 5G cellular networks. Our objective is to explore the network properties to adapt the data transmission behavior from the mobile devices to save the device's battery power. This project is funded for a duration of 5 years (2018 - 2023).

Development of Algorithms and Tools for Log Analytics and Vulnerability Assessment
Funded by: Indira Gandhi Center for Atomic Research

This project aims to explore the system logs generated from an operating system to understand various vulnerabilities by employing machine learning techniques. We look into both the application and the network-generated logs from various ubiquitous systems. This project is funded for a duration of 4 years (2020 - 2024).
